Many parents have their oldest child help out with various chores around the house such as laundry,cleaning,and other tasks. If the parents use pin-on cloth diapers and plastic pants for their bedwetting youngster the parents might want their older children to help out with this task as well. This can be a delicate situation and ultimately this is a judgment call for the parents but the two main things things you might want to consider are the following: do you think the child will feel embarrassed about their older brother or sister taking care of their diapers and plastic pants and how old is the child who you’re considering involving in this task(the older the child is the more mature they are and would more likely handle this situation in an adult fashion). Another point to consider is this. If the bedwetter is a boy he might feel a bit skittish about their sister(or sisters) taking care of their bedwetting garments. On the other hand if he has both older brothers and sisters he might feel uncomfortable having his brothers deal with the issue. Theoretically it could go either way. Since girls generally have a maternal instinct(and usually mature faster than boys) they might be more sympathetic to the bedwetter’s predicament and might handle the situation in a more adult manner. Therefore it might be better to involve them in taking care of the bedwetter’s diapers and plastic pants.
If you do decide to have the older siblings help out with this chore it’s important to talk to both the bedwetter to get their thoughts on the matter as well as his or her older siblings to see if they’ll be able to handle this in a responsible and mature fashion. I think it’s especially important to see how the bedwetter feels about this because most bedwetters are embarrassed about their bedwetting and to have their siblings involved in such an intimate matter has the potential to make them feel more embarrassed. I want to start my baby registery soon but am torn on a couple of basis items. I can’t decide if I need an electric breast pump or if a manual one will do. Time constraints will not be as issue because I am taking time off so the manual would be ok but someone told me that the electric ones are less painful b/c you can change the settings. Does anyone have experience with both and can give me some advice?
Also, are pampers or huggies diapers better?

I just have to thank another wonderrful mom on the site that happened to mention this service. But it’s easy to forget your hubby is toiling through this journey sometimes. I found a wonderful service call givethemsmiles.com which allowed me to have a call, text, and or email delivered to my husband telling him how amazing of a husband he was, how awesome of a dad he was going to be, and that I loved him so much…4 times a week into my last trimester. I have a friend who’s using it now and she’s in her first trimester. Whether this or in person, I find it just helps to lift up our men and remind them how amazing they for putting up with the ups and downs of this beautiful moment in life!

Ok. Im trying not to freak out but I just recieved a letter on my son saying he has " Hemoglobin C trait " I tried to do some research and havent found nothing out yet. My son is 3 weeks old. Can this hurt him or affect him in any way?

okay so my fiancee mother has cursed me out for the last time…..! Her oldest daughter ended up prego and was and always askes me for advice…..I told her boyfriend and her I dont want to be involved anymore in this drama their too young…..Mean while she tells her mother she is progo and the mother says well what are you going to do?? I was pissed because not only is my man upset his little sister is prego by umm which guy and also that his mom is just okay get an aboration and choose which guy!!!! So i texted the crying ex bf I dont wanna be involved anymore the mother answer was dumb my mom woulda kick my butt ya knw……so he forward the messages to the mother and she has called and texted me i am a dumb *****, lazy ass ***** no good for her son….and threating to take my kids away and call social; services on me ! she told me I need to mind my own business…what? I was until they bugged me every day…..so long story short….She made my man choose me and his kids over his mom and sisters?? Wow harsh…..So I was okay with the fact that even though she called me I don;t knw how many bitches and horrible stuff I was still going to let her visit her grandson on my terms in my house…..but a week ago I received another message from the mother that she was gonna teach me a lesson on not minding my own fucken business…??? So now im over her seeing him….and to add insult to injury I dont want my man to be crazy mad but he really shows np concern that his mother keeps threating me and harrassing me?? I dont want him to choose but at the same time id want this lady in my life anymore!!!!!

Hello, everyone! I haven’t been on here in awhile but I have a question!
I am 38 weeks pregnant today…last checkup was 3 days ago and I was 75% thinned out, and dilated 1cm, baby had dropped some but not completely. Been having regular, strong braxton hicks for 2 wks about every 7-10 mins apart if I am sitting down (and a few while up and about). Doctor said he didn’t think that our baby would come this week (said about a 30% chance in his opinion) however, since last night, I have just been feeling weird…stomach is tore up, and my back is killing me! Also feel very lightheaded with braxton hicks about every 5 mins last night but about every 10 mins again this morning. I am pretty sure that he dropped more last night cause my belly looks smaller on top and I feel him moving farther down…it feels like he is literally trying to wiggle/claw his way out right now.
Just wondering if these are signs that things are progressing faster than the doctor thought? Or is this normal? Really not wanting to go into labor this weekend cause my girls are SO excited about dressing up for halloween! But doctor told me that if I do go into labor next week that he would be fine with that and not stop it which is fine with me! Never got this far with my first pregnancy (twin girls) cause they induced me at 35 1/2 wks so this is all new to me! Any input would be appreciated!

this is the first year were taking our son who is 2 1/2 trick or treating and i wanted to know what time do people go. it starts to get dark here at 6pm. it been a long time scene i went so i dont remember. thanks
